Vextaro
Vextaro is a men's luxury formalwear rental app. The core problem wasn't demand — it was trust: renters can't try the garment on before it ships, so uncertainty about fit was the single biggest thing standing between browsing and booking.
Fit anxiety, not selection
I ran competitive audits across 10+ competitor and industry sources for men's luxury formalwear rental, paired with targeted user interviews. Fit-uncertainty complaints came up repeatedly — renters wanted a second opinion before committing, not more product options. A finished outfit is a coordinated system (jacket, trousers, shirt, tie, shoes, and accessories, each with different sizing rules), so Vextaro treats that connected fit problem as the product opportunity instead of making shoppers solve each item alone.
From complaint to checkpoint
A system built to scale
In parallel, I built a complete Figma token-based design system — variables, a 4-color semantic palette, and a typographic scale — and linked every style to a shared token rather than a one-off value, including the multi-state UI patterns (dropdown menus, bottom-sheet overlays, tabbed selectors, collapsible navigation) the flows actually needed, with interaction behavior documented for engineering handoff.
What's next
Vextaro is an active internship project. Low-fidelity wireframes for onboarding and the core screens are the current phase, building on the IA and token system above before moving to hi-fi.
